Designed specifically for use with high Argon mixed gas, UltraCore® 71A85 delivers Lincoln's best arc characteristics for gas-shielded flux-cored welding. Shipbuilders and structural fabricators like it because it runs well - it's our best running E71T-1 for high Argon gas blends, and it delivers great arc stability and fast freezing slag for easy out-of-position welding, even with 1/16" diameter wire. This wire is carefully protected from moisture contamination using the new ProTech™ foil bag packaging system.
